Will held its Fifth International Scientific Conference (5th-HSAAED) for the period 17-18/ 7 /2024. In cooperation with the Iraqi Ministry of Agriculture , The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) , The Arab Center for the Studies of Arid Zones and Dry Lands (ACSAD) , Center of Desert Studies (CDS), Badiya Studies Center and Sawa Lake and Sahara Majan Agricultural and Food Consultation Center (Qutoof).

The 5th-HSAAED aims to:

  1. Knowledge Exchange and Collaboration: Facilitate a platform for scientists, researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to exchange ideas, share expertise, and collaborate on innovative solutions addressing challenges in agriculture, environmental sustainability, and development.
  2. Promotion of Sustainable Practices: Promote and disseminate knowledge about sustainable agricultural practices, conservation strategies, and environmental management techniques to ensure long-term ecological balance and resilience in the face of climate change.
  3. Policy Development and Implementation: Encourage the development of policies that support sustainable agricultural practices, ecosystem preservation, and the integration of environmentally-friendly approaches into development agendas, fostering practical implementation strategies.
  4. Community Engagement and Empowerment: Empower local communities, farmers, and stakeholders by sharing practical knowledge, tools, and technologies to improve agricultural productivity sustainably, while also enhancing environmental conservation efforts.
  5. Advancing Research and Innovation: Foster advancements in agricultural science, environmental research, and technological innovations aimed at enhancing productivity, minimizing environmental impact, and promoting sustainable development.
  6. Economic Growth with Environmental Consciousness: Explore the nexus between economic growth and environmental conservation, emphasizing the potential for sustainable agriculture and environmental practices to drive economic development while preserving natural resources.
  7. Educational Outreach and Awareness: Promote public awareness and educational outreach programs about the importance of sustainable agriculture, environmental protection, and their crucial role in achieving broader development goals.
  8. Cross-Sector Collaboration: Encourage collaboration across diverse sectors such as agriculture, environment, finance, and policymaking to create synergies and comprehensive strategies for sustainable development.
  9. Measurement and Evaluation: Discuss and develop methodologies for assessing and evaluating the impact of agricultural and environmental interventions, ensuring measurable progress towards sustainable development goals.
  10. Global Networking and Partnerships: Facilitate the establishment of international networks and partnerships to foster ongoing collaboration, resource sharing, and joint initiatives for sustainable agricultural and environmental development on a global scale.

Deadline for sending full manuscripts is 10/7/2024
Conference date is 17 -18 /7/2024


Registration Requirements:


The manuscript should be within conference topics and written in English only.

The author should commit to journal conditions.
The manuscript must not publish or accepted to publish in another journal for publication.
All manuscripts will submit to scientific reviewing by specialist reviewers.
Plagiarism ratio must not exceed 20%.


Publication Fees:

The accepted papers will be published after the acceptance in a Scopus-indexed journal according to its publication regulations and fees.
Participation in the conference to obtain a certificate can be the following ways:
Attendance participation only.
Virtual participation only.
Attendance fee includes hotel accommodation for one night.
